A Vintage Country Gathering Sat Oct 22nd 8-4pm

Hello everyone, want to take a minute and tell you about where you can come see us next. This Saturday October 22nd we will be joining several of our favorite vendors at a new show! Gathering, presents Vintage Country Flea Market. Show is from 8am ~ 4pm at 1769 County Road FF Willows CA 95988 Hosted by Richard & Janet Simmons. From 8 - 12 there is an early buying admission charge of $5, from 12 -4 free admission. The Gathering girls have picked the creme de la creme of vendors and this will be a GREAT SHOW! It will be a great family outing, there will be a pumpkin patch and Good Morning Bakery & Deli will be on hand for your dining pleasure! This will be the last Show of the Season for alot of us.....so be sure to come on down to Willows!

Roses and Rust Oct 2011

This Show had alot of stress behind it but in the end it turned out to be a magical day and it was beautiful. I got to meet lots of new friends, see old ones and even connect with a high school friend that came to visit me from SAC!!!! Between that and meeting Jacque and James Ferreira from Old Soul Studios in person my heart was HAPPY! Here is some PIX from the day! ENJOY!

Flights of Fancy Antiques Faire in Chico Sept 17th

Iam so excited to be apart of this Show, I meet Suzanne and Carey thru Bonnie from Lulafayes and the Owner of the Roses and Rust Show......and I just love the both of them!

This Show is nestled in Suzanne's Garden and it is spectacular!!!!!! It will have 25 hand picked Vendors, and everyone has amazing goodies to sell! If you are interested in being a VENDOR at Roses and Rust we are still excepting vendors and the DEADLINE is Sept. 15th. Booth Fee is $75, all booths are outside booths and they are 12x12. Roses and Rust will be held at the Historical Gover Ranch. We are very excited to have our Event here this year and we feel it will be a beautiful backdrop for our venue!

How to make your own Laundry Soap ( my new fave thing!)

1 Box of Borax

1 Box of Arm and Hammer's Washing Soda

1 Bar of Fels-Naptha soap ( buy more they are CHEAP 98 cents)

1 5 gallon bucket

and VIOLA your ready!

Fill your bucket up with 3 gallons of water,

1/2 cup of Borax
1 cup of A&H Washing Soda
1 whole bar of Fels Naptha (grated on a cheese grater)

get a pan and take the water from the 5 gallon bucket fill the pan 1/2 full of water

In the 5 gallon bucket pour in the Borax and A&H Washing Soda MIX WELL

Take the Fel Naptha (grated and put it in the pan of water and put on the stove over a med/low heat and let it melt completely. When melted pour this mixture in the 5 gallon bucket and MIX WELL! Put the lid on and let sit overnight. When you check it out in the morning it will look like goup........its OK....let me tell you this stuff WORKS GREAT, and its cheap and you feel good you made it!

USe a scoop or a 1 cup measurer and use 1 scoop per load.....this 5 gallon bucket lasted me 2 months!
